Comecemos por lembrar a importáncia de dar ao padrom o papel que lhe corresponde: o de umha variedade entre outras possíveis da língua, reservada para determinadas funçons de tipo formal. Como curiosidade, o galego coincide com o brasileiro no uso muito habitual do verbo ventar junto a fai / está vento, enquanto em Portugal a forma padrom é faz / está vento.
Achamos que as três possibilidades podem perfeitamente conviver como legitimamente galegas, embora só a primeira delas, com o verbo ir, seja caracterizadora do galego face aos padrons lusitano e brasileiro. As outras duas, com os verbos estar e fazer, pertencem ao conjunto de todos os países de fala galego-portuguesa, Galiza incluída.
